Supreme Court Open Days and Open House London Weekend

The Supreme Court is taking part in the Open House London initiative (17-18 September 2011) for the second year running. After overwhelming interest last year more slots were made available - but sadly these all all now fully booked. Please do not make plans to visit the Court on this weekend unless you have a confirmed booking.

We are however pleased to announce four additional Open Days, when the public can see areas usually reserved for court staff and legal professionals using the court. These include the magnificient triple-height Library and the Lawyers' Suite, overlooking Parliament Square. A special art trail is being set up for these days, so that visitors can enjoy the highlights of the Middlesex Guildhall Art Collection on show in the building; plus there will be creative activities for younger visitors.

Visitors will also get the opportunity to see our temporary summer exhibition, profiling Supreme Courts from across the world.

The Open Days are taking place on Friday 26 August, Tuesday 30 August, Friday 16 September and Monday 19 September. Doors are open from 9.30am until 4.30pm (last admission), and entrance is free. Our cafe and gift shop on the lower ground floor will be open during these hours.
